Managing Director Safety Jogger Workwear

We are seeking an experienced, result-oriented Managing Director with excellent leadership qualities.

You will be responsible for the relaunch of the Safety Jogger Workwear department as a separate business unit.

You translate the vision of the Safety Jogger brand into a clear strategy, and with your entrepreneurial drive you implement the strategy based on a long-term business plan with smart objectives. You are a strategist and a leader able to set our workwear department up for success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – What will you do?

Your role is key to developing new business, drive sales, launch product and marketing initiatives, co- managing product range development and analysis across different sales channels to ensure the achievement of budgeted sales, profit and growth targets.

Strategic

  • Help defining vision, set-up clear goals under the umbrella of the brand Safety Jogger
  • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy in order to attain these goals
  • Research and analyze industry, market and competitors to make informed strategic decisions regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and product development ideas
  • Provide strategic advice to the board so they have an accurate view of the general market and help to define a unique (selling) position
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Instigate and oversee the strategic planning and development of the product set.
  • Boost the sales by establishing long term company goals and short-term company objectives
  • Manage a core team of 3 people giving direction to product development, sales and supply chain on the basis of relevant performance indicators and adjust when necessary

Business Development

  • Oversee all aspects of business development
  • Proactively seek out new clients and revenue streams
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy
  • Work with relevant parties to oversee the development of new products and services
  • Develop, implement and maintain operational plans, processes and budgets
  • Create and develop a successful business development team
  • Report to the Board on business performance across all areas of responsibility

Procurement

  • Negotiate prices with suppliers ensuring value and quality of supply
  • Partner with suppliers to create accurate samples and bulk production
  • Liaise with overseas suppliers
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – Who are we looking for?
  • 10 years of experience in an (international) general management role or sales director role
  • Master’s Degree
  • Proven experience in strategic business planning related to the industry of garments, workwear
  • Knowledge of logistics, procurement, marketing and business development (preferably in the garment or PPE industry)
  • A network of contacts within the PPE industry is an asset
  • Experience in commercial negotiations in relation to PPE

Commercial director Safety Jogger Workwear

You will play a shaping role in building the commercial organization and strategic ambitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – What will you do?

Your role is key to developing new business, drive sales, launch product and marketing initiatives, co- managing product range development and analysis across different sales channels to ensure the achievement of budgeted sales, profit and growth targets.

Commercial

  • Work closely with management to develop a strategic sales and marketing plan to target new business on a global level
  • Set and achieve sales targets and strategy
  • Account Management
  • Promote the Safety Jogger workwear business and the brand
  • Research target markets and prospective opportunities in various sectors to build a solid pipeline of work
  • Pursue rising business opportunities, cultivate leads and convert them into customers
  • Develop a strong understanding of competition in the industry and market positioning
  • Collaborate with all areas of the business to share your insights from the field on target markets and competitors
  • Prepare & implement activity designed to increase sales and/or market share
  • Ensure that the handling of customer orders, enquiries, and issue resolution are delivered to agreed standards, and that wherever possible we exceed customer expectations in this area
  • Engage with customers to provide total customer satisfaction
  • Communicate appropriate policies and procedures that directly affect or involve the customer
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reporting

Business Development

  • Oversee all aspects of commercial business development
  • Proactively seek out new clients and revenue streams
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – Who are we looking for?
  • 8+ years Management experience, of which at least 5 years in a sales position
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in developing and implementing a commercial strategy in concrete actions
  • Proven new business and account management experience growing a B2B customer base in competitive markets
  • Extensive and successful B2B sales experience demonstrated through year-on-year achievement of sales targets
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Multilingual (English, French, Dutch) and open to travel internationally
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • PPE, workwear or related background is desirable but not essential

Senior Product Manager Safety Jogger Workwear

We are seeking a skilled result-oriented Senior Product manager with excellent line building qualities.

Together with the management team you will be responsible for the relaunch of the Safety Jogger Workwear department as a separate business unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – What will you do?

As our Product Manager, you will be responsible for setting up the Safety Jogger workwear product range that meets market demand in terms of trends, technicality and fashion. You will collaborate with management, suppliers, testers and our global sales team to help deliver high quality, certified products that meet customers’ expectations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and experience of managing workwear sourcing & supply chains globally with the ability to deliver a product or range from initial concept through to development and successful launch.

In addition to overseeing product development, the role also requires strong supplier management skills with experience of managing a diverse range of suppliers globally.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone that has a proven track record of product line building and sourcing workwear globally.

  • Research and develop our workwear product range to grow sales
  • Responsible for all aspects of category/product management, including identification of product from supplier, sourcing and successfully bringing the product to market and ensuring product profitability and ROI
  • Effectively manage budgets, procurement and stock management for category new products
  • Responsible for product life cycle management and follow up
  • Create detailed technical measurement and construction specifications
  • Present ideas and products to management and sales representatives globally
  • Secure that product and product quality meets our standards, EU regulations and sustainable aspects
  • Exercise attention to detail to ensure products are to the required quality and high standard on a consistent basis
  • Research and analyze industry and sales data and make strategic recommendations regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and the future sales of your product range
  • Support sales activities and product launches, including training of our customers and global sales team
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS – Who are we looking for?

To become our Senior Product Manager workwear, you will need:

  • 5+ years in a Product Manager role or similar ideally within the workwear or safety wear or outdoor apparel industry
  • Profound knowledge of technical garment materials
  • Knowledge of relevant safety wear and workwear certifications and standards
  • Proven knowledge of marketing principles and pricing strategies
  • Experience and track record in leading the development of a product category strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects against set deadlines and budgets
  • Proficient computer skills in different IT applications including MS Office, knowledge of ERP is an asset
  • Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills, office, social media (knowledge of ERP is an asset)
  • Commercial acumen to identify products with strong sales potential
  • Experience liaising with colleagues and suppliers based overseas
  • Relevant degree in Fashion/design
